Job summary

WGM Engineering Ltd, part of the RSK Group, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support high value projects from Glasgow with hybrid working. The role will involve commercial management across the UK water and infrastructure portfolio, protecting value, managing risk and ensuring cashflow.

Qualifications

• Experience as a QS or project QS in construction, engineering, infrastructure.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and change control.
• Experience producing CVRs, forecasts, valuations and commercial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support across designated projects, maximizing value and protecting margin.
• Prepare and maintain monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).
• Produce cost analysis, revenue profiling, cashflow forecasts and reports for reviews.
• Support NEC contract administration (early warnings, compensation events, notices, change control).
• Manage payment applications, interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, finance, clients and suppliers to scrutinise project information.
