Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly capable Quantity Surveyor to join its Glasgow/Edinburgh team. The role involves hybrid working with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote, delivering cost management services across commercial, industrial, residential, and public sector projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QS/PQS environments; MRICS is desirable. The firm supports APC progression, offers APC sponsorship, and provides career development within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience within a Quantity Surveying / PQS consultancy environment
• Experience independently managing projects from pre-contract through to final account
• Strong knowledge of cost planning, procurement, tendering and contract administration
• Excellent client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills
• MRICS desirable, although candidates working towards APC are strongly encouraged to apply
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent organisational and reporting skills
• Stable employment history with a commitment to long-term career development

Responsibilities

• Deliver full pre and post-contract quantity surveying services across a varied project portfolio
• Prepare cost plans, Bills of Quantities, tender documentation and tender evaluations
• Produce monthly valuations, cost reports and financial progress updates
• Independently manage multiple projects from inception through to final account
• Attend regular site visits, progress meetings and client meetings
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and project teams
• Work closely with senior management to ensure successful project delivery
• Support junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the business
