Emeya Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an iconic HS2 infrastructure project in London. You will manage commercial performance, administer NEC contracts, and support the delivery team to maximise value across multiple packages.

The role requires proven experience in engineering or major construction projects, strong negotiation and stakeholder management, and a degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent). This is a high-profile, long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within engineering, infrastructure, or major construction projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage costs, contracts and financial performance.
• Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts (or similar standard forms).
• Confident in negotiating with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of allocated project packages.
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support procurement activities, including subcontractor management.
• Produce accurate commercial reports and forecasts.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to drive commercial performance.
