Job summary

Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead contract and subcontract administration on the HS2 project. The role requires strong commercial acumen, governance, and effective interface management within a headhouse construction commercial team.

You will support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and delivering value across design & build packages.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry with demonstrable track record of achievement.
• Extensive experience drafting contractual correspondence and negotiating solutions.
• Experience in managing cost control and valuations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the management of commercial personnel and activities.
• Contract management and administration; supply chain management and cost control.
• Produce forecasts to complete, CVR, and earned value analyses.
• Prepare and review tender documents and subcontract scoping and pricing.
