Job summary

Ernest and Florent in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our cost consultancy team. You will lead a variety of projects across residential, healthcare, education, commercial, retail and hospitality sectors, delivering pre and post contract services.

Responsibilities include cost planning, estimating, procurement, contract advice, commercial management, cost reporting and final accounts, with a focus on client relationships and taking ownership of your work.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
• Strong consultancy experience with client-facing delivery.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of projects across sectors (residential, healthcare, education, commercial, retail, hospitality).
• Deliver pre and post contract services including cost planning, estimating, procurement, contract advice, and commercial management.
• Produce cost reporting and final accounts with strong ownership of work and client relationships.
