Job summary

Brownlee Cale Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor to support a major engineering package at Hinkley Point C in the UK.

The role requires strong FIDIC contract knowledge and a background in MEICA/Nuclear infrastructure, with an emphasis on commercial control and stakeholder management. The candidate will work on a long-term contract with hybrid working and site visits two days per week, contributing to cost reporting, change management and client

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a PQS or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
• Background in MEICA major infrastructure, energy or nuclear projects.
• Excellent commercial and contractual awareness.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Administering and managing FIDIC contracts.
• Commercial reporting and cost control.
• Managing change, compensation events and contractual entitlement.
• Valuations, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Managing subcontractor accounts and commercial risk.
• Supporting project delivery teams with contractual advice.
• Building strong relationships with the client and project stakeholders.
