Job summary

Bowdon Associates Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost control, budgets and BOQ on specialist façade projects. You will drive commercial performance, liaise with design and project teams and manage CVRs from tender to final account.

The role requires proven QS experience in façade/cladding, strong JCT/NEC contract knowledge, and a track record of end-to-end package management. Based in the North West, it offers career progression and professional development.

Qualifications

• Senior QS with façade/cladding experience.
• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Experience managing packages end-to-end.
• Excellent numeracy, negotiation and communication skills.
• BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying.
• CSCS Card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based in or near North West England.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of façade projects from tender to final account.
• Administer contracts under JCT and NEC; handle variations and claims.
• Lead procurement and negotiation with subcontractors.
• Monitor and control costs; identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare valuations, payment applications and cash flow projections.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and project teams; attend meetings/site visits.
• Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors.
