Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Cwmbran is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our growing commercial team on refurbishment projects across public sector clients.

You will manage tendering, cost planning, and procurement, and work with project teams to drive commercial success from tender through final account.

Experience with BOQs, pricing, and subcontractor negotiations is preferred. A construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) is valued, along with solid communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as QS/Estimator in construction with refurb projects.
• Capable of tender preparation and BOQ pricing.
• Strong cost control and procurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings and specs to price works accurately.
• Manage project costs and budgets throughout delivery.
• Support subcontractor procurement and final accounts.
