Job summary

East Renfrewshire Council's Property and Technical Services team seeks a senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join the department and help deliver a diverse range of capital and revenue projects.

The role requires several years' senior QS experience in pre- and post-contract work, with strong tender preparation skills and a track record of meeting tight deadlines. Hybrid work is available, with up to 40% home working to support flexible service delivery.

East Renfrewshire Council's Property and Technical Services team is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and suitably experienced individual to join the Service's multi-disciplinary team and assist in its delivery of a diverse range of capital and revenue funded work.

You will bring to the post several years' experience in a senior (Chartered) quantity surveying role built on a variety of project sizes and types in both pre-contract and post contract roles.

We are seeking a candidate with good inter-personal and communication skills, excellent tender preparation skills and who has a strong track record of delivery to tight deadlines.
