Job summary

Rogers McHugh Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in drylining or strong understanding of drylining packages. The role is office and site based with projects mainly across the North West, balancing client liaison with on-site commercial delivery.

You will manage project costs, valuations, variations and final accounts, using Excel (Chalkstring familiarity is a bonus). The salary is between £50,000 and £60,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• You will be a Senior Quantity Surveyor or ready to take the next step, with strong commercial awareness.
• Experience with drylining projects and understanding the commercial challenges they bring.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for commercial management of projects from £100k to £4m.
• Oversee costs, maximise profitability and build relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Work closely with leadership to shape the development of the commercial function.
