Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team in the United Kingdom. The role covers refurbishment, regeneration and construction projects across residential and public sector environments.

You will manage commercial and contractual aspects from inception to final account, ensuring cost control, accurate reporting and strong commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction, refurbishment or property services sector.
• Experience with Schedule of Rates (SOR) works is highly desirable.
• Exposure to local authority frameworks, social housing, refurbishment or regeneration projects would be advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts and valuations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of multiple projects from inception through to final account.
• Work closely with operational teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure cost control, financial reporting and commercial performance.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and valuations; manage project costs and provide commercial reporting.
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages; prepare and submit applications for payment; assess and agree variations.
• Forecast costs and cash flow; drive final accounts and ensure contractual compliance.
• Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities; support senior management with strategic commercial decisions.
