Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Future Defence Infrastructure Services team in Rosyth, Scotland. You will provide commercial leadership on a diverse portfolio of projects from £25,000 to £5 million, reporting to the Principal Commercial Manager.

This role offers exposure to a substantial multi-million programme, with benefits and development opportunities across Mitie’s extensive facilities management portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
• Proven experience delivering projects of comparable complexity and value.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Managing contractual and commercial aspects of the Billable Works programme.
• Preparing subcontractor tender enquiries and assessing commercial returns.
• Negotiating, pricing and agreeing contract variations with clients and subcontractors.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and monthly reporting.
• Monitoring project performance and identifying opportunities to mitigate commercial risk.
