Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source in Kent is seeking a permanent Quantity Surveyor to manage valuations, final accounts and project cost control. Start Date: ASAP. Salary: £70,000 per annum. Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

The role focuses on preparing monthly valuations, cost analysis, tendering and value engineering to support project profitability and sustainability. You will collaborate with the project team and external stakeholders to optimise financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage monthly valuations, retention recovery and final accounts.
• Project cost analysis, cost estimation, budget monitoring and variations.
• Tendering, tender document review and value engineering.
• Feasibility studies, financial viability and long-term cost/sustainability considerations.
• Managing the order book and quarterly WIP assessments.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders to optimise financial performance.
