Job summary

Notting Hill Genesis Group is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead our independent cost assurance service within the Repairs team. You will provide commercial leadership across contractor pricing, variations, and cost management to ensure value for money and robust decision making.

You will own the Schedule of Rates, develop a high-performing Commercial Officers team, and challenge pricing with stakeholders while remaining independent from budgets and contracts.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in quantity surveying or commercial management.
• Experience in housing, construction, facilities management or similar regulated environments.
• Experience with Schedule of Rates (SOR) pricing and reviewing contractor pricing, variations and commercial submissions.
• Experience leading, managing and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent cost assurance across Repairs, reviewing and challenging contractor pricing, variations and final accounts.
• Own, develop and maintain the Schedule of Rates (SOR), ensuring consistent, controlled and benchmarked pricing across programmes.
• Manage and develop a team of Commercial Officers, ensuring high-quality and consistent commercial assurance outputs.
• Provide robust challenge on contractor pricing, identifying discrepancies, inefficiencies and cost risks.
