Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Construction Consultancy

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a multidisciplinary construction consultancy. This is a full-time position offering a dynamic and professional work environment, with a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and attention to detail.

The role will be based in Central London, supporting a diverse project portfolio including Residential, Co-Living, Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), and Commercial Office developments. Projects range in scale from 50 to 500 apartments and include both new build and refurbishment schemes with contract values between £20m and £100m.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivering high-quality services and outputs across all project stages
2. Preparing and managing tender documentation and processes, including evaluation criteria
3. Compiling comprehensive contract documentation
4. Evaluating and reporting on project programmes
5. Engaging with the supply chain and leading contractor procurement
6. Producing and managing cost plans and cost exercises
7. Conducting carbon impact assessments
8. Administering interim payments and valuations
9. Managing project changes and preparing cost reports
10. Forecasting project cash flows and providing monthly reporting

Requirements:

1. Chartered (MRICS) or working towards APC completion within the next 12 months
2. Experience in a cost consultancy environment
3. Proficiency with measurement software
4. Strong knowledge of JCT Contract administration
5. Demonstrable experience with residential new build projects
6. Creative and solutions-oriented mindset
7. Technically proficient with excellent attention to detail
8. Strong multitasking and teamwork skills
9. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
