Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for composite building products based in Clacton-on-Sea. You will manage project costs from initial estimating and tender through final accounts, and prepare BOQs, tenders, valuations and cash flow forecasts. You will administer NEC/JCT/FIDIC contracts, monitor performance and deliver value engineering to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires extensive construction QS experience and strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications

Must have extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction.
Knowledge of NEC, JCT or FIDIC contract types.
Ideally experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Manage project costs from initial estimating and tender through final accounts.
Prepare and manage BOQs, tenders, valuations, cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
Administer contracts including NEC, JCT and/or FIDIC.
Work with clients, contractors and internal teams to provide commercial advice and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Monitor project performance and deliver value engineering to support investment decisions.
Typical projects include infrastructure, developments, high rise offices and residential blocks.
