Job summary

Aureos Energy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team and help deliver exceptional commercial results across UK rail projects. You will support contract delivery, maintain records for payment applications and provide accurate project reporting.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will assist in profitability, cash management, and KPI achievement while upholding group commercial policies and best practices across the client base.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
• Working towards Professional Qualification.
• Substantial post degree experience in contracting commercial.
• Knowledge of construction industry conditions of contract.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Management of application and credit control processes.
• Management of optimisation of income.
• Management of costing and forecasting.
• Management of change control system.
• Input into project risk management.
• Management of CTC and CVRs.
• Management of full sub-contract cycle.
• Provide commercial advice to Project Team.
• Develop team spirit within Project Commercial Team and with Client.
• Management of dispute resolution.
• Communications within Project Commercial Team and with Project Team.
• Management of Training plans.
• Input into tendering processes.
