Job summary

Aureos SPN are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team and support national infrastructure projects across the UK. The role focuses on delivering excellent commercial results through project delivery, reporting, and profit maximisation.

You will report to the Regional Commercial Manager and contribute to a robust commercial function across the SPN unit, ensuring profitability, cash management, cost control and accurate reporting for schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
• Substantial experience working in contracting commercial department.
• Experience on multi-disciplined HV/LV Infrastructure projects desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Management of application and credit control processes.
• Management of optimisation of income.
• Management of costing and forecasting processes.
• Management of change control system.
• Input into project risk management.
• Management of CTC and CVRs.
• Management of full subcontract cycle.
• Provision of commercial advice to Project Team.
• Development of team spirit within Project Commercial Team and with Client/Stakeholders.
• Management of dispute resolution.
• Communications within the Project Commercial Team and with the Project Team.
• Management of Training plans.
• Input into the tendering process.
