Job summary

Kilnbridge seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial performance on a major civil infrastructure scheme. Based on-site in Northamptonshire, you will own budgets, CVRs and final accounts, manage subcontractor payments and drive value through commercial risk management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Strong commercial awareness and Excel skills.
• Experience with NEC or JCT contracts.
• Experience leading budgets, CVRs and final accounts.
• Mentoring and developing junior QS staff.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial ownership of projects from handover to final account.
• Develop budgets, cash flow forecasts and CVRs with analysis of performance.
• Value completed works, interim payments and variations accurately.
• Manage change control, pricing and agreements of variations.
• Monitor costs, productivity and resource expenditure with records.
• Support claims, loss and expense submissions and final accounts.
• Procure and manage subcontractors; tendering and final accounts.
• Assess subcontractor applications and payment recommendations.
• Collaborate with operations to mitigate risks and maximise value.
• Attend client and supply chain meetings and maintain documentation.
• Provide commercial guidance and mentor junior staff.
