McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd, a long-established civil engineering and construction contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in the UK. The role focuses on managing project costs, budgets, interim valuations, and final accounts across high value projects, ensuring contractual compliance (JCT / NEC) and robust commercial reporting.

You will procure supply chain partners, certify payments, manage variations, contribute to EOT and loss and expense submissions, and maintain

Formación

• Degree qualified candidate.
• Good knowledge of JCT & NEC forms of contract.
• Excellent numerical, IT and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to site.

Responsabilidades

• Manage project budgets, interim valuations and final accounts.
• Arrange cost forecasting and value engineering initiatives.
• Procurement of supply chain partners and certification of payments.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts; manage variation accounts.
• Assist with Extension of Time claims and Loss & Expense submissions.
• Ensure robust commercial documentation and contract compliance (JCT/NEC).
• Develop positive working relationships and maintain governance, quality and safety practices.
