Job summary

Streamline Search Limited in Leeds seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring financial performance and NEC contract compliance. Qualifications

• Proven experience as Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS in contracting environments.
• Strong track record in cost control, forecasting, valuations and final accounts.
• Excellent understanding of NEC forms of contract and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership of assigned civil engineering projects, ensuring financial performance and contractual compliance.
• Manage budgets, cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Prepare and review CVRs, valuations, applications, cash flow forecasts and other reports.
• Manage variations, compensation events, change control, payments and final accounts.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and mitigate accordingly.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Lead procurement activities and negotiate subcontractor/supplier agreements.
• Provide guidance to Quantity Surveyors and junior team members.
• Collaborate with Commercial Manager to deliver safe, efficient and profitable projects.
