Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property in Swindon is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial health of civil engineering packages from inception through final accounts. You will handle NEC3/NEC4 contracts, CVR, cash flow forecasts and final accounts across heavy earthworks, highways, and infrastructure schemes.

The role requires a proven civils track record in main contracting, NEC contract proficiency, CVR and procurement expertise, and a degree or HND in QS or

Qualifications

• Civils track record in main contracting with exposure to heavy earthworks or highways.
• In-depth NEC3/NEC4 (Option A or B) knowledge and application.
• Strong CVR, procurement, and subcontractor account management skills.
• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial health of civil packages from inception to final accounts.
• Administer contracts, handle early warnings, compensation events and variations.
• Prepare CVRs, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.
• Procure subcontractors, assess payments, and issue notices.
• Value work and negotiate final accounts; identify risks and value opportunities.
