Randstad CPE is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Swindon area to take commercial ownership across major civil schemes. The role suits a QS stepping up or an SQS ready to manage heavy earthworks, highways and infrastructure packages.

You will report to the Commercial Director, oversee contracts, CVRs, and final accounts, and drive value and profitability through proactive risk & cost control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QS or SQS in civil engineering main contracting.
• Strong exposure to heavy earthworks, highways or groundworks.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• CVR preparation, procurement and subcontractor accounts management.
• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Manage commercial health of civil packages from inception to final accounts.
• Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts including early warnings and variations.
• Prepare CVRs, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.
• Procure specialist subcontractors and issue payment notices.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities to protect margins.
