Job summary

Progressive Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a contract role based in Mansfield to drive commercial activity on a bid through Christmas. The position emphasizes bespoke forms of contract and non-standard methods of measurement, with close collaboration with the commercial team.

The successful candidate will prepare cost estimates, valuations and commercial submissions, support risk management, and ensure timely reporting and documentation for tender delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong commercial and contractual management capabilities.
• Experience supporting tenders, bids or pre-construction activities.
• Ability to understand bespoke forms of contract.
• MRICS qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support on a live bid project.
• Review bespoke contract documentation.
• Prepare cost estimates, valuations and commercial submissions.
• Assist with commercial risk management and contract administration.
• Support tender and bid activities from a commercial perspective.
• Work with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Ensure accurate commercial reporting throughout the bid process.
