Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join its client’s team in London, focusing on bespoke new build, refurbishment, and basement projects with contract values up to £10m. You will manage budgets, valuations, variations and payment applications, procure subcontractors and suppliers, and provide financial reporting across 1-2 projects.

Qualifications

Proven Quantity Surveying experience within prime residential construction (or similar).
Strong understanding of construction costs, contracts, and procurement.
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Confident managing subcontractors, suppliers, and client relationships.
Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
Proactive, organised and commercially driven approach.

Responsibilities

Manage project costs, budgets and financial reporting.
Prepare and manage valuations, variations and payment applications.
Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
Review tenders, quotations and contract documentation.
Monitor project expenditure and identify commercial risks.
Work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, clients, architects and consultants.
Assist with forecasting, final accounts and project close-out.
