Job summary

Full Circle Technical Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client in Hampton/South West London. The role is hybrid, typically three days per week on site or in the project environment, overseeing major works valued over £5 million.

You will manage commercial aspects, procurement of high-value packages, contract administration under NEC3/IChemE, and mentor junior staff. Excellent stakeholder engagement and cost control are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent commercial qualification.
• Experience managing projects valued above £5m.
• Experience procuring and managing large-value subcontract packages.
• Experience within utilities, water, civil engineering or MEICA.
• Strong knowledge of NEC3 and/or IChemE contracts.
• Strong commercial, contractual and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of projects and major work packages.
• Managing projects with values in excess of £5m.
• Procurement and commercial management of high-value subcontract packages.
• Liaising with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control cost.
• Working collaboratively with the client and wider project team.
• Managing the main contract and ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are appropriately raised.
• Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation.
• Managing subcontractor performance.
• Preparing and agreeing applications for payment and cost/value reports.
• Managing budgets and forecasts.
• Supporting the management and development of junior commercial staff.
• Maintaining strong commercial relationships across project teams and the supply chain.
