Job summary

Foster & May, a growing independent Construction Consultancy, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead complex public sector schemes and mentor junior team members.

You will work in a collaborative Kent-based team, taking on client-facing duties, pre/post contract management, and elements of EA/CA/PM work as needed, while expanding your professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar.
• MRICS would be nice, not essential.
• Client facing experience.
• Good leadership skills.
• Excellent pre and post contract experience.
• PQS/Consultancy background.
• Comfortable acting as EA/PM/CA where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and handle complex schemes across the public sector.
• Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors within the team.
• Carry out elements of EA/CA/PM work as needed.
• Maintain client-facing relationships and ensure delivery.

Job description

An independent Construction Consultancy with exciting growth plans is looking to add a reliable Senior Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable in client-facing scenarios.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's role

Working within a team of 10+ Quantity Surveyors in Kent, the new Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for leading projects and handling more complex schemes across the public sector.

Alongside a traditional Quantity Surveying role, the new Senior Quantity Surveyor will also carry out elements of EA/CA/PM work, as well as the opportunity to help mentor more junior Quantity Surveyors within the team.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar
