Job description

MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor for our ESD joint venture framework.

Office-based role responsible for the execution of allocated contracts from tender through to final account, within limits defined by the Commercial Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Developing the commercial plan to manage risk and drive profitability
2. Measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings) for valuations, variations, and final accounts
3. Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting, and agreeing on interim valuations
4. Measurement and valuation of subcontractors' work for payment and final account purposes
5. Development and submission of claims for delay, disruption, and loss and/or expense
6. Procurement of non-domestic subcontractors and assisting the Buying Department in procuring domestic subcontractors
7. Preparation of various financial reports
