Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a design & build contractor. The role is office-based with regular site visits across the UK, offering a permanent full-time position with a strong project portfolio.

You will lead commercial activities from pre-construction through final account, ensuring budget control, contractual compliance and profitability across multiple projects. Prior senior QS or commercial management experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
• Experience in commercial construction, refurbishment, fit-out or design & build.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and commercial software.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Design & Build Construction

An established and highly respected design and build contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team.

This role will suit a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a Managing Surveyor position, or an experienced Managing Surveyor seeking a new challenge within a growing business.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring financial performance, contractual compliance and successful project delivery.
