Job summary

The post reports to the Commercial Manager and Directors, with responsibilities for contractual and commercial processes and leading the commercial team. Experience with NEC contracts, CSCS status, and commercial software skills is desirable, with membership progress toward MRICS or CICES

The successful applicant will take responsibility for the project's contractual and commercial processes and lead the commercial team. The remit includes identifying project opportunities and risks, maintaining budget control and reporting performance. Monthly reports will cover cost-value reconciliations, forecasts and cost plans.

Main-contract administration includes valuations, payments and changes. Subcontract responsibilities extend from procurement through payments and performance management. Work must follow the contract requirements and the company's procedures.

The employer seeks experience on a large scheme or several smaller projects and an understanding of NEC contracts. Applicants should have suitable CSCS status, commercial software skills and the ability to manage priorities and outcomes. Professional membership such as CICES or MRICS, including progress towards full qualification, is desirable.
