The Role

Our client are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values autonomy in their work. You will be responsible for the full commercial management of residential and groundwork projects, from tender through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all costs relating to residential and groundwork projects
• Prepare, submit and negotiate tenders and contract variations
• Monitor project budgets, valuations, and cost forecasts
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and financial performance
• Support project teams in delivering profitable and on-time delivery
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential and groundworks sectors
• Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, estimating software, etc.)
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field preferred
• Full UK driving licence (if applicable)
