Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their experienced commercial team. The contract is valued at £1B, with an ongoing 5-year agreement and potential extension for another 10 years, offering long-term stability.

The role involves managing projects worth over £100M annually. The work focuses on high-volume, low-cost projects within the water industry across London, including shafts, rising mains, pipe jacking, pumping stations, and water mains renewal.

Responsibilities

• Manage costs across numerous low-value projects to ensure profitability.
• Oversee repair, maintenance, and developer services projects in water infrastructure.
• Handle projects such as sewer rising mains, bridges, and emergency pipe diversions.

Requirements

• Good educational background, preferably a BSc in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.
• Chartered surveyor status is essential.
• Proven stability working with tier one or tier two contractors in utilities or highways maintenance on high-volume, low-cost projects.
• UK driving license is mandatory.
