Due to rapid growth, OCU Opals is recruiting an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to enhance and maintain our commercial reporting across the business.

At OCU Opals, we design, build, manage, and maintain vital communication infrastructure. Our goal is to be the supplier of choice by developing long-term partnerships based on safety, quality, and reliability.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Will Be Responsible For

• Managing entitlements and obligations under main and sub-contracts.
• Managing sub-contract payments, including negotiations and reconciliations.
• Preparing accurate monthly cost/value reconciliations and contract reviews.
• Producing financial and statistical reports.
• Collaborating with operational and support staff for project management.
• Leading commercial meetings with clients.
• Managing a team of 5 commercial staff.
• Overseeing project close-out financials and retention releases.
• Working with the Head of Finance to analyze and improve financial performance.

What Will You Need

• 3-5 years of Quantity Surveying experience with relationship-building skills.
• Experience with NEC contracts.
