Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civil Construction - Peterborough area

We're on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a passion for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects to join a dynamic team working on some of the country's most ambitious civil engineering and highway developments.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Overseeing the commercial and contractual aspects of civil engineering projects, particularly focused on highways and infrastructure.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and managing cost plans, valuations, and variations.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure financial efficiency across the lifecycle of each project.
  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms, risk management, and procurement strategies.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in quantity surveying, with a strong focus on national highways and civil works.
  • Proven track record of managing budgets and delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC or similar forms of contract.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (MRICS preferred but not essential).
