Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with an established engineering and construction business in West Cumbria to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The role focuses on the commercial management of high-value, complex nuclear projects and ensuring successful outcomes across major contracts.

You will work closely with high-profile clients, contribute to final accounts, and influence project commercial strategy within a supportive commercial team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Strong background in a commercial role within construction/engineering
• Solid working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence and build long-term client relationships

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of major projects, working closely with high-profile clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Strong background in a commercial role within the construction or engineering sector
• Solid working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence and build long-term client relationships
• Understanding of fabrication processes (desirable)
• Experience managing variations while maintaining repeat business
