Job summary

Not Specified is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Civil Engineering division in the Bury St Edmunds area. The role focuses on cost management, procurement and contract administration across high-profile infrastructure projects with energy transmission clients.

You will support PMs commercially and lead monthly payment applications and forecasts. Ideal candidates will have NEC3/4 experience, familiarity with Options A/C/E, and exposure to both contractor and subcontractor

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3/4 contracting frameworks and Options A/C/E.
• Proven ability to manage commercial aspects across contractor and subcontractor interfaces.
• Experience drafting monthly applications for payment and project forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost control, procurement and contract administration for projects.
• Draft monthly applications for payment and prepare project forecasts.
• Attend Monthly Progress meetings and support PMs from a commercial perspective.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in our client's team, you'll have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects with leading clients in the energy transmission industry. Ideally Candidates Will Have

• Experience with NEC3/4
• Experience with Options A,C and E
• experience working as both contractor and subcontractor
• Raising EW's, CEQ's and CE's
• Supporting PM's from a commerical perspective
• drafting monthly applications for payment
• Drafting project forecasts
• Attending Monthly Progress meetings

We are looking for someone who is use to dealing with all commercial aspects of a project and is happy with client facing discussions. Enrergy, OHL or Electrical Transmission Industry experience preferred by not essential.
