Join a Leading Civil Engineering Contractor on a High-Profile Energy Project

Our client, a nationally recognised Civil Engineering Contractor with an annual turnover of £350M, has recently secured a major tender and is now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

This is your chance to join at the start of a long-term major infrastructure project in the energy sector and become part of a business thats expanding rapidly, especially within its energy division.

Key Responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership of a key energy infrastructure project
• Manage and procure sub-contract packages
• Oversee full post-contract activities from inception to final account
• Lead on CVR reporting and contract administration (NEC3)
• Identify and manage project risks
• Act as a key liaison with the client and stakeholders
• Support and mentor junior commercial staff and Project Managers
  
  

What Were Looking For

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Solid experience as a Senior QS on civil engineering, utilities, or infrastructure projects in the UK
• Strong working knowledge of NEC3 contracts
• Confident communicator with solid negotiation and reporting skills
• Capable of managing multiple sub-contracts and maintaining financial control
