Navartis is excited to partner with a global Tier One contractor to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a subsidiary focusing on rail manufacturing, maintenance, and utilities installations. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a long-term growth project, develop junior QS staff, and support UK infrastructure across various industries. The position is primarily based in Hereford with some remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the commercial delivery of complex contracts or major project segments.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for effective communication and collaboration.
3. Ensure compliance with all commercial processes, systems, and standards.
4. Oversee and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, fostering high performance and professional growth.
5. Manage main and subcontractor administration in line with commercial strategies to ensure project success.
6. Work closely with the operations team to identify, escalate, and mitigate risks proactively.
7. Participate in safety leadership and assist in preparing and agreeing on final accounts.
8. Promote compliance and quality within the team, seeking opportunities for process improvement.
9. Develop high-performing teams through clear guidance, development opportunities, and recognition.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Significant experience in Quantity Surveying within a relevant environment.
• Full membership of a recognized professional institute (e.g., RICS or CICES) is desirable.
• Experience in developing and mentoring junior team members.
• Strong communication skills to manage internal and external processes effectively.
