We are currently working with a privately owned top civil engineering contractor based in Worcestershire that turns over £60m. They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Worcester. This role will be based at both site and office locations.

The company specializes in delivering civil engineering projects and frameworks, including infrastructure, highways, and public realm works for private clients and local authorities.

They are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on projects within the region, with responsibilities including aiding regional growth and managing live projects valued between £5m and £20m, taking on senior surveyor duties once projects are underway.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business expanding into new areas, with a full order book through 2025. The role offers excellent progression opportunities to a Managing Quantity Surveyor position and the chance to make a significant impact within a reputable company.

Key responsibilities include overall project commercial management, valuations, cost value reports, measurements, subcontract procurement and payments, final accounting, cash collection, forecasting with the site team, and managing subordinates.

A strong civil engineering background is essential, given the variety of elements involved, such as earthworks, highways, deep drainage, s278 agreements, footways, and culverts.
