The successful candidate will lead various tasks to ensure project delivery aligns with budget and quality standards, while also managing procurement and stakeholder interactions on site.

Join a market-leading infrastructure contractor delivering high-profile civil engineering projects across the South East. We're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of commercial and cost management across complex tunnelling and shaft construction works. Based out of Chessington with regular travel to sites, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to the highest standards.
Leading commercial activities across major infrastructure projects, with a focus on shafts and tunnelling.
Preparing valuations, cost reports, applications for payment, and internal financial reporting.
Managing subcontractor and material procurement from requisition through to final account.
Administering contracts, including variations, change control, and maintaining contract registers.
Supporting client cost reporting and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
Identifying commercial risks and driving value engineering opportunities.
Using internal systems to track budgets, monitor costs, and forecast expenditure.
Proven experience working on shaft or tunnelling projects within the infrastructure or civil engineering sectors.
In-depth knowledge of IChemE contracts (essential).
A minimum of 5 years’ Quantity Surveying experience, including at least 2 years in a senior QS role.
Strong understanding of standard forms of contract and recognised methods of measurement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent commercial acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
