Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a portfolio of specialist infrastructure projects.

The role combines office and site activity, working closely with engineers, site teams and decision-makers to maximise commercial performance and maintain strong client relationships. You will oversee projects from contract award through final account, with typical work spanning rail, highways and civil engineering sectors.

We're supporting a specialist engineering contractor with the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Scotland business, delivering a diverse range of rail, highways and civil engineering projects.

The Opportunity

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of specialist infrastructure projects throughout Scotland.

Working alongside operational and delivery teams, you'll oversee projects from contract award through to final account, ensuring commercial performance is maximised while maintaining strong client relationships.

Projects typical include:

• Rail infrastructure works
• Bridge and structural refurbishment
• Highways infrastructure projects
• Complex design and build solutions

This role will suit someone who enjoys getting out to site, understanding project challenges first-hand and working collaboratively to find commercial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial management of multiple live projects

• Supporting operational teams throughout project delivery

• Regular site visits to gather commercial information and monitor progress

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors from a subcontract / Tier 2 backgrounds including:

• Excellent communication skills
