Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Glasgow to take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of specialist infrastructure projects. You will work with delivery teams from contract award through final account, maximizing commercial performance while maintaining client relationships.

This role involves on-site and office collaboration, exposure to rail, highways and civil engineering schemes, and opportunities to influence project performance and outcomes.

We're supporting a specialist engineering contractor with the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Scotland business, delivering a diverse range of rail, highways and civil engineering projects.

The Opportunity

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of specialist infrastructure projects throughout Scotland.

Working alongside operational and delivery teams, you'll oversee projects from contract award through to final account, ensuring commercial performance is maximised while maintaining strong client relationships.

Projects typical include:

• Rail infrastructure works
• Bridge and structural refurbishment
• Highways infrastructure projects
• Complex design and build solutions

This role will suit someone who enjoys getting out to site, understanding project challenges first-hand and working collaboratively to find commercial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial management of multiple live projects
• Cost reporting, forecasting and budget control
• Managing valuations, variations and change

• Contract administration and risk management
• Supporting operational teams throughout project delivery

• Regular site visits to gather commercial information and monitor progress

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors from a subcontract / Tier 2 backgrounds including:

• Experience working under NEC contracts
• Design and build project experience
