Job summary

Foster & May in Chorley are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen and expand our team on high-profile healthcare, education and commercial projects across the UK.

In this lead role you will manage budgets, costs and forecasts, provide accurate financial reporting, and mentor junior team members while offering strategic commercial guidance to clients. MRICS or working towards is preferred, with strong pre/post-contract knowledge.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent.
• MRICS or working towards.
• Previous experience within a UK PQS.
• Ideally experience within the commercial / Industrial sector.
• Strong Pre and Post Contract knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in managing project budgets, costs and forecasts.
• Provide accurate financial reporting, strategic cost advice and effective commercial management.

A growing Northern Quantity Surveying Consultancy is looking to appoint a motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen and expand their team in Chorley.

The Senior Quantity Surveyors Role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering high-profile projects across the healthcare, education, and commercial sectors, taking a lead role in managing projects while providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will take a lead role in managing project budgets, costs, and forecasts, working closely with clients to provide accurate financial reporting, strategic cost advice, and effective commercial management.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent
• MRICS or working towards
• Previous experience within a UK PQS
• Ideally experience within the commercial / Industrial sector
