Job summary

EA First Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver pre- and post-contract services, drive value and represent a growing construction consultancy with professionalism.

You will lead on cost planning, procurement, contract advice, and manage budgets, valuations and final accounts across wide-ranging projects with high-profile clients. A degree and strong commercial acumen are expected, with RICS membership preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified with strong commercial awareness.
• RICS membership preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in cost planning and procurement for construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, procurement and contract advice.
• Manage budgets, valuations and final accounts.
• Handle quantity surveying, estimating and cost plans.
• Prepare contracts, assess risks and liaise with clients.
• Price tenders and manage bid submissions.
• Build client relationships and resolve disputes.
• Prepare reports and support project growth.

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver exceptional pre- and post-contract services, drive value, and represent this growing construction consultancy with professionalism.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead on cost planning, procurement, and contract advice
• Manage budgets, valuations, and final accounts
• Quantity surveying, estimating and cost plans
• Contract preparation, risk management advice and meeting clients
• Pricing tender submissions and managing bid submissions
• Build strong client relationships and resolve disputes
• Reports, claims and dispute resolution
• Support business growth and promote our brand

What We’re Looking For:

• Preferably degree-qualified
• RICS membership preferred
• Quantity surveying experience ideally within a construction consultancy environment
• Confident decision maker who is commercially aware
• Strong commercial and technical skills
• Proactive, organised, and a confident communicator
