Senior Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor
Location - Lancashire

With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued investment across the business, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
Managing the commercial delivery of multiple construction projects from pre-contract through to final account
Preparing and managing cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts
Procuring and managing subcontractor packages
Producing accurate CVRs, cost forecasts, and commercial reports
Monitoring project costs and ensuring commercial performance is maximised
Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
Administering contracts and ensuring contractual compliance
Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team where required
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a Main Contractor environment
Experience delivering projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, industrial, residential, or public sector developments
Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge
Experience managing projects through the full commercial lifecycle
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Membership of RICS or working towards chartered status would be advantageous
Competitive basic salary of £65,000 - £75,000
