Job summary

Property Partners Recruitment in Woking is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established property and construction consultancy. Based in Woking, you will deliver cost planning, pre and post-contract QS services, and advise on procurement strategies across sectors.

The role offers hybrid working, exposure to diverse projects (commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sector), and clear progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Strong consultancy Quantity Surveying experience.
• Proven pre- and post-contract experience.
• Excellent cost planning and commercial management skills.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts and procurement.
• Strong client-facing and communication abilities.
• MRICS preferred or working towards chartership.
• Experience across commercial, residential, education, healthcare or public sector projects advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a range of projects.
• Preparing cost plans, estimates and development appraisals.
• Advising clients on procurement strategies and contract options.
• Managing tender processes and analysing contractor returns.
• Monitoring project costs, cash flow and financial performance.
• Preparing valuations, cost reports and final accounts.
• Providing commercial and contractual advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Working closely with clients, Project Managers, Building Surveyors and design teams.
• Managing client relationships and supporting business development.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.

Based in Woking, you'll work alongside an experienced team delivering Quantity Surveying services across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sector projects.
