Managing Quantity Surveyor

Water Contractor – AMP 8

+ Car, Pension, Travel Expenses, and more.

I’m partnered with an exciting specialist water contractor who has secured long-term work on multiple AMP8 frameworks.

To support these projects, my client is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the team and work closely with the Commercial Manager. The role involves managing a team of 2-3 QS’s and helping to set up and implement commercial operations and processes for this busy period.

I am looking to speak with Senior/Managing Quantity Surveyors with diverse experience.

We need someone with experience mentoring/leading Quantity Surveyors and a passion for leadership.

Additionally, we want someone who is a creative thinker, involved in commercial operations and processes, and willing to propose ideas and solutions. Experience in setting up operations is a plus, but the right attitude is most important.

This role offers security for the next 5 years along with significant responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to make a substantial impact in the water industry over the next 5 years.

What I am looking for:

• Substantial experience as a Quantity Surveyor in relevant environments: Water, MEICA, M&E, Nuclear, Civils, etc.
• Experience mentoring/leading QS’s
• A creative thinker, proactive, and open to processing new ideas
• Ability to commute to Bedford at least 2 days a week (3 days from home)
• A positive attitude and willingness to think outside the box
