Job summary

The University of Bristol BEAM Centre invites applications for a systematic reviewer or quantitative researcher to join the Bristol Evidence Synthesis, Appraisal and Modelling group. You will contribute to NIHR Bristol ESG and BUcKLES ESG, collaborating with statisticians, information specialists, clinicians and public contributors.

The role supports living systematic reviews and evidence synthesis across Bristol Medical School; flexible, hybrid work and multidisciplinary collaboration are core.

Qualifications

• Strong training in quantitative research with basic medical statistics.
• Enthusiasm for evidence synthesis and living systematic reviews.
• Some experience with systematic reviews; training available.
• Excellent critical appraisal skills for a range of study designs.
• For SRA: PhD. For RA: Masters in a relevant quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to applied evidence syntheses and living systematic reviews.
• Develop review protocols, screening, data collection, risk of bias and GRADE.
• Narrative and quantitative syntheses (e.g. meta-analyses) for diverse projects.
• Prepare datasets and interpret data; write reports and publications.
