Job description

Job title: Senior Quality Systems Engineer

As a key part of the Quality Team, you'll take ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and drive compliance with industry standards, ensuring our products and processes meet the highest expectations. You'll collaborate across departments, lead audits, and introduce continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) to comply with ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, and NADCAP
2. Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
3. Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), driving meaningful process improvements
4. Act as the key contact for customer, regulatory, and certification audits
5. Support new product introductions, ensuring quality is built into processes from the start
6. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, making operations more efficient and sustainable

Requirements:

1. Strong background in Quality Engineering within a complex, AS9100 Rev D manufacturing environment
2. Experience implementing and maintaining quality systems in regulated industries (aerospace/automotive preferred)
3. Hands-on knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PSW, FAIR, ISIR, SPC, and Control Plans
4. Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments
7. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining the highest quality standards
