Job summary

Advanced Energy in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to support the Quality Manager on a 12-month fixed contract. You will identify opportunities for improvement to manufacturing and business processes through audits and data analysis, and support NPIs as SQE & Quality Engineer for the NPI project team.

You'll work cross-functionally to facilitate root-cause investigations and ensure resolution, maintain ISO 9001 compliance, and drive corrective actions with suppliers.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience.
ISO 9001 knowledge and experience applying the standard.
Internal auditor certification is required.
Experience using SAP type MRP systems.
Familiar with quality improvement tools such as FMEA, APQP & PPAP; 6-Sigma background is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for improvement to manufacturing and business processes through audits and data analysis.
Support NPIs as SQE & Quality Engineer for the NPI project team.
Lead root cause investigations and ensure effective resolution of issues.
Perform Internal Audits against ISO 9001, internal procedures, and customer requirements.
Provide daily Quality support to NPI Team and operations teams.
Drive corrective actions with suppliers and ensure robust improvements.
